The returned items must be in the same condition that you have received them for sal&pimenta to accept them; sal&pimenta will not accept either worn, damaged, dirty or stained items. For refunds, and swimsuit/trunks exchanges (for hygene purposes) you must contact us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org during the 7 days following your order explaining your situation. For all the other exchanges, you must contact us to the email above, during the 2 weeks following your order explaining your situation.
The customer is responsible for the full returning process of the item(s) to back to sal&pimenta; sal&pimenta only dispatches the new item back to the customer, once the returned item has arrived in the above-mentioned conditions. Should you be based outside the European Union (EU) and therefore the return process entail a shipment from outside of the EU into the EU, we inform that any shipment which the customs value (shipping cost + declared items cost) is above 22 Euro, will be retained for analysis at the boarder and treated as an import. Therefore it will be automatically subject to VAT, handling costs and possibly duties. In order to limit these costs and delays, we recommend that you ship your items using the most economical service of your national postal service (not express courier) and declare your goods as a "returned item", a "gift" or simply "zero value".
At sal&pimenta we declare every single item we export and therefore we hold exportation certificates for every export. Thus returned items by our customers and sold by us are not required to be subject to VAT, handling and or duty. Should you choose to proceed otherwise please note that the importation process may not only take months to complete but should these costs arise, they will be accounted for in your return or exchange process. Note that the handling costs alone is between 50 Eur and 100 Eur. We remind you that sal&pimenta offers an extra shipping in case you want to exchange an item and your purchase has been over 150usd for United States customers and over 120 euros for european customers. For exchanges unrelated to faulty or damaged items, the shipment of the new items will be courtesy of sal&pimenta when you are based in Portugal and your order has been exceeded 100 Eur. Similarly, for exchanges unrelated to faulty or damaged items, your new items will ship at our courtesy when you are based elsewhere, for orders exceeding 150 Eur or 150 USD. Sal&pimenta takes full responsibility (limited to the purchase amount and respective shipping costs) for items which are either dispatched damaged, faulty or stained or have been subject to a delivery mistake attributed to sal&pimenta. In such cases sal&pimenta will assume the costs related to the solution of such situations.
FINAL NOTE: Unfortunately, sal&pimenta won't accept exchanges or refunds for items purchased during STOCK OFF season or in the "Outlet" section.
